Die Songs meines Debüt-Albums wurden zwischen 2011 und 2016 erstellt, teilweise neu überarbeitet in 2017/2018 und zu Beginn 2019 über das Portal AMUSE über die iPhone/iPad-App publiziert. Der "workflow" der weltweiten Publikation über AMUSE verlief dabei recht unkompliziert, wobei die korrekt formatierten Inhalte wie Album Artwork und Musikdateien im korrekten Format auf iCloudDrive bereits vorlagen. Nach 14 Tagen der Prüfung und einigen Korrekturen wurde dann das Debüt-Album zum 1.3.2019 auf den wichtigsten online Musikportalen erstmals veröffentlicht - wow!

Fade Out Lines
Der Titelsong "Fade Out Lines" geht auf eine meiner Song-Ideen in der Schulzeit zurück, die wir damals mit meiner allerersten Schülerband bereits gespielt haben. Die hook-line kam mir nach so langer Zeit spontan wieder in den Sinn und daher habe ich mich daran gemacht, den Song und das Arrangement komplett zu überarbeiten und neu aufzunehmen.
Twilight Zone
Im Song "Twilight Zone" hat meine Tochter, Sarah Peters, eine gelernte Sängerin, die vocals beigetragen und die lyrics spontan während der Aufnahme improvisiert!
Barack's Groove
Im Song "Barack's Groove" wurden Ausschnitte aus der legendären "Yes, we can" Rede von Barack Obama verarbeitet. Ursprünglich war die Idee, Reden des US-Präsidenten Barack Obama und des Bundespräsidenten Christian Wulff gegenüberzustellen. Allerdings wurde zu schnell klar, dass die Sprechweise von Christian Wulff die Rhythmik des Songs geradezu zerstörte. Umso überraschender war die Erkenntnis, dass Obama seine gesamte Rede konstant mit 85 bpm (Beats per Minute) hält, was ideal zum Songtempo passt.

The songs of my debut album were created between 2011 and 2016, partly revised in 2017/2018 and published at the beginning of 2019 via the portal AMUSE using the iPhone/iPad app. The "workflow" of the worldwide publication via AMUSE was quite uncomplicated. The correctly formatted content like album artwork and music files were already available on iCloudDrive in the correct format. After 14 days of checking and some corrections, the debut album was released on the most important online music portals on March 1, 2019 - wow!
Background informations to some of the songs
Fade Out Lines
The title song "Fade Out Lines" goes back to one of my song ideas in school time, which we already played with my very first school band. The hook-line came back to my mind spontaneously after such a long time and so I started to completely rework and re-record the song and the arrangement.
The Twilight Zone
In the song "Twilight Zone" my daughter, Sarah Peters, a trained singer, contributed the vocals and improvised the lyrics spontaneously during the recording!
Barack's Groove
In the song "Barack's Groove" excerpts from the legendary "Yes, we can" speech by Barack Obama were used. The original idea was to juxtapose speeches by US President Barack Obama and German President Christian Wulff. However, it became clear too quickly that Christian Wulff's way of speaking virtually destroyed the rhythm of the song. Evenmore surprising was the realization that Obama holds his entire speech constantly at 85 bpm (beats per minute), which perfectly fits to the song tempo.
